MONIKA

Monika is an Australian girl with a Polish background, born and raised in Melbourne.

Monika’s love of dance began at the age of three when she first took to the stage at her father’s Polish dance company in Melbourne. She has continued to grace the stage since, trying her hand at a variety of dance styles including Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Ballroom, Hip hop and Latin.

In 2006, Monika was chosen to perform at the Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games at the prestigious Melbourne Cricket Ground. In the same year she also made her theatre debut performing in the ensemble of the Plenty Ranges Theatre Company’s production of “Grease, The Musical”.

Monika’s love of Bollywood dancing began three years ago when she joined The Bollydazzlers Dancetroupe. Since then she has taken part in over 100 gigs, lead workshops, choreographed routines, taught private lessons and had the privilege of being invited to perform in Auckland.

Monika hopes to continue Bollywood dancing for a very long time and one day plans to travel to India to explore her love of all things Bollywood!
